Sea Bass

The holiday season is upon us. Everyone is running around decorating their houses or lighting menorahs. With spirits high, people are gathering with the ones that mean the most to them. Many of us are trying to embrace a healthier approach. Along those lines, here is a holiday meal with Sea Bass, pasta, and steamed green beans.

Recipe feeds 4 to 6:

Sea Bass

  • 4 to 6 6oz Sea Bass filets
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons dill
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preheat an oven to 375

  • place Sea Bass on a greased baking sheet
  • In a bowl, mixed together all of the above ingredients
  • Pour them over the fish, and bake for 25 minutes

Pasta

  • 1/4 olive oil
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 6 oz package of Feta cheese
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped basil

In a baking dish place ll of the ingredients and mix together. Bake for 20 minutes. While the tomatoes are cooking, bring 4 cups of salted water to a boil. Pour a box of bow tie pasta into the water. Cook for 3 minutes. Take tomatoes out of the oven and stir with a spoon. Place pasta with 1/2 cup of pasta water into the tomato . Toss and serve

Steamed Green Beans:
Bring water to a boil. Place green beans in the water and cover with a lid. Steam for 2 to 3 minutes.
