2018 Season Opener

The only place to be on Friday night, September 7, is the Circus!  The 2018 Chicago Fall Social Season will kick off at exactly 6:30 p.m. with A Night Under the Big Top inside the green Streeterville club.   

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey has passed the whip to the Woman’s Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Co-chairs are Elizabeth Blodgett, Holly Cortes and Abra Wilkin.  President of the Woman’s Board is Stephanie McKean.

It’s quite a history the two above ladies have with the Woman’s Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, which has been producing the Passavant Cotillion and Christmas Ball every December since 1949. Suzy has been a Woman’s Board president and Cotillion chairman, and both she and Elizabeth were Passavant debs.

Suzanne Sivage Borland is escorted by her father, Gerald Sivage, at the 1965 Passavant Cotillion. Gerald Sivage was a president of Marshall Fields during its glory days.

 

History is history. Now, back to the Circus: Plan for an evening of fantastic food, great drinks, fabulous music and fearless performers—trust us–an intrepid tight rope walker will scare you to death. All your friends, decked out in their best circus chic, are expected after the long summer break.  See you  Under the Big Top!
