Lyric Opera’s Opening Night Gala and Ball is like Christmas morning; it is succession of gifts and surprises and it comes around but once a year. Classic Chicago published dozens of pictures of the magnificent 2017 event last Sunday, but they did not begin to cover it all. We promised to come back with more, and here it is . . . beginning with a return to the Red Carpet.
