NOW! returns this month to talk shopping. In particular, to touch base on my favorite topic: accessories.
Why this month? Because kicking off tomorrow, and lasting through the rest of the week, one of the best boutiques in Chicago, SPACE 519, is welcoming the creators of accessories brand Lizzie Fortunato, a personal favorite. This NOW! is happening right now.
SPACE 519 is teaming up with Lizzie and Kathryn Fortunato, for a shop-in-shop of “Fortune Finds” starting November 3, with an opening reception at the store from 5 – 8 pm. This pop-up will remain open through November 6 for shoppers unable to toast the designers on the 3rd.
The Chicago boutique has pulled a coup—this is the first time the Fortunato sisters have brought an event of this kind to a location outside of New York.
What will be included among these “finds,” you ask? The shop-in-shop will feature one-of-a-kind items collected from the globetrotting sisters’ adventures, from African baskets and Moroccan rugs to Mexican copper platters and Auntie Oti napkins. SPACE 519 will also be stocking the shop with their own curated selection of vintage home and personal items.
Those in the market for some of brand’s famously colorful and whimsical earrings, necklaces, bags, belts, and everything in between—fret not. This pop-up is also offering a wide assortment of accessories from Lizzie Fortunato’s Fall/Winter 2016 and Resort 2017 collections. Statement earrings guaranteed.
SPACE 519 is located at 900 North Michigan Avenue on Level 5. For more information about the boutique, visit space519.com. To RSVP for the November 3 reception, contact email@example.com.
The accessories brand Lizzie Fortunato, created by twin sisters Lizzie and Kathryn Fortunato, has been around for nearly a decade, creating stunning costume jewelry produced locally in New York City.
