It Won’t Be Long Now
Beginning—with possibly one near you—on Saturday, May 31 at 7:00 am

This writer hopes to sleep long past 7:00 am on Saturday, May 31; however, numerous friends and neighbors will surely be out and wandering along Division Street between State and Dearborn at that hour, followed by many more early Saturday mornings around the city this season through October 25.
Food is the attraction on this one day a week, rather than the famous bars that line the block on both sides, which doesn’t mean thirsty shoppers won’t nip into Butch’s or The Lodge periodically as the morning progresses.

But the focus is on food this one day each week.
And what a delight to be grocery shopping outdoors.
Food and Drink both reign on the great block of Division Street thoughout Chicago’s fair weather months on Saturday mornings.
Not to mention gorgeous flowers.
Those shorts are looking terrific on the few guys who are beginning to wear them.
And lady shoppers are also looking marvelous.
Paticularly on the sunny days
And Farmer’s Market flowers are as plentiful and popular as is its produce.
