Carol Prins and John Hart

By Megan McKinney
Two of the city’s most beloved and admirable supporters of the arts, Carol Prins and John Hart, were honored earlier this month by The Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts) for “their unwavering support and extraordinary contributions to ChiArts and many of Chicago’s most notable cultural institutions.” The event was Kerfuffle! 2024 at Morgan Manufacturing in the city’s West Loop. The Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts) is Chicago’s first and only public high school offering tuition-free pre-professional arts training. The evening was co-chaired by Samera Ludwig and Mirja Spooner Haffner.

Samera Ludwig, Event Co-Chair and Board Member and Mirja Spooner Haffner Event Co-Chair and Board Chair were joined by Duffie Adelson ChiArts School Board Chair.
