The Woman’s Board of the Chicago Horticultural Society inaugurated the holiday season with its 12th annual All Aboard! gala at the Chicago Botanic Garden. Three hundred and fifty supporters of the popular North Shore amenity attended, ensuring that the Botanic Garden will continue to protect biodiversity, connect people with plants, and move forward with thriving research and programs.
Setting the mood for the 2017 virtual tour, “A Holiday Journey through Italy,” Kehoe Designs created dining rooms around such themes as “Capri,” “Tuscany” and “Tivoli.” Carrying the exotic atmosphere further, Jewell Events Catering served festive regional fare and the Joe DeLuca Orchestra entertained guests with authentic Italian music. Overseeing it all were the evening’s co-chairs Mary Alice Miller and Marcy Johnson, led by Woman’s Board President Nancy Kurz,
