Whether it was batting on Wrigley Field or hearing how sports teams utilize science, the 750 guests at Field of Champions celebrated a partnering of the Field Museum and the Chicago Cubs recently.
Nearly 750 guests gathered under the iconic Wrigley scoreboard to kick off a fun partnership event between The Field Museum and the Chicago Cubs last month.
The one-of-a-kind event brought together Museum donors, scientists, and Cubs experts for an evening of science and sports. An evening spent exploring the Clubhouse, interacting with Museum scientists—not to mention pitching and batting practice—was the home run idea of the Museum’s Founder’s Council, its premier donor circle.
